Hey there,
I’m Elisha.
I design experiences to facilitate human connection and build community—whether it’s via physical events or digital products.
To me, comm•unity is a product built from effective comm•unication between people, which requires an intentional and empathetic approach.
As a creative problem-solver with a hospitality, business, and design background, I love leveraging a “life is service” mindset to empathize with users, utilizing business methods to transform data, and collaborating with teammates to turn complex problems into meaningful design solutions.

✦ A LITTLE ABOUT ME…
I’ve always been people obsessed.
My best memories have come from working with people. It started at my mother’s cafe, where I loved creating a great atmosphere with food, decor, music, and conversations. This passion shaped my life as I took on service and leadership roles, always aiming to make people feel welcome and valued. My desire to serve drove me to pursue a degree in hospitality at Cornell University, where I studied business analytics focused on hospitality—skills valuable for any future path I choose.
Discovering design and building community.
Cornell University offered countless courses and extracurricular opportunities. I sought out organizations that aligned with my passions for marketing, digital media, and creativity. I became the Assistant Director of Media Production for Hotel Ezra Cornell, the largest student-run hospitality conference, where I led photography and videography projects to promote the organization. Additionally, as a long-time music lover, I found a second family with Yamatai Taiko, Cornell's Japanese taiko-drumming team, where I could pursue my musical passions.
In every organization I joined, my role naturally expanded to include marketing, design, digital media, events, and management responsibilities.
As I searched for potential career paths that would combine my passions for problem solving, people engagement, and creativity…
I discovered the world of user experience design, realizing that creative design and empathetic thinking could solve problems in the ever-evolving field of technology. Eager for hands-on experience, I joined Design Consulting at Cornell, where I spent three years building my skills in design and project management. More importantly, I helped cultivate a community of interdisciplinary problem solvers, united by a shared passion for design and helping each other grow. One of the most rewarding aspects was seeing this legacy continue to grow even after I graduated.
As I step into this next chapter beyond graduation, I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and creating meaningful experiences. Let’s connect and build something great together!
